Our mission – Sustainability as the Foundation of Our Actions

As a family-run group comprising more than 80 affiliated companies and over 6,000 employees, we place sustainability is at the heart of our long-term corporate strategy. Our responsibility extends beyond the present generation; we regard it as our duty to actively shape the conditions for a liveable future for generations to come.

We continuously enhance our processes, products, and services with a focus on ecological, social, and economic sustainability. To underpin this commitment, we establish clear internal structures, set defined objectives, and foster reliable, responsible partnerships throughout the entire value chain. Together with our business partners, we make a tangible contribution to a forward-looking and sustainable construction industry.

Our sustainability strategy is based on a regularly updated materiality analysis in accordance with ESRS 1 and GRI 3. This strategy is firmly embedded in our corporate management and coordinated by a central sustainability office.

Foundations of our reporting

Our sustainability strategy and reporting comply with applicable legal requirements and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). We fulfil the fundamental reporting obligations for our entities within the European Union and are proactively preparing for forthcoming regulatory requirements in Switzerland.

We pursue clearly defined, measurable objectives to continuously enhance our sustainability performance. We promote the implementation of these objectives across all business areas through transparency, innovation and resilience, ensuring that environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects are an integral part of our corporate strategy.

Integration of international standards

Our organisation is certified in accordance with the following internationally recognised standards: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). These standards form the basis of our management systems, ensuring the systematic integration of sustainability into all corporate processes.

Compliance with these standards is verified through audits and ensured through ongoing development. This allows us to guarantee not only conformity with legal requirements, but also alignment with internationally proven best practices.
