Les Jardins du Château
Porrentruy
From housing to schools, from museums to infrastructure: exposed concrete is also part of Marti's DNA. Discover with #ExposedConcrete a selection of our projects where technical precision meets architectural ambition.
This Minergie-certified building is characterised by its three-pronged star shape, which provides optimal sunlight for its 35 apartments. Located on the outskirts of the old town of Porrentruy, it boasts a view of the castle. Its 15.33-metre-high structure, made up of 2,300 cubic meters of concrete and 320 tons of steel, covers an area of 4,423 square meters. The 20-centimetre-thick EPS perimeter insulation and triple-glazed windows ensure energy efficiency and comfort. The building's polygonal shape and concave elevations make it appear less voluminous from the street, while creating high-quality outdoor spaces. The apartments, ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 rooms, are designed to accommodate the elderly and people with reduced mobility. A communal vegetable garden rounds off the complex.
