Construction by Mancini Marti
Castione
From residential construction to school buildings, museums and infrastructure works, exposed concrete is also an integral part of Marti’s DNA. Under the hashtag #Sichtbeton, we present a selection of projects where technical expertise merges with architectural design
The building appears as a compact, clearly articulated volume framed by a continuous reinforced concrete plinth. This distinctive element reliably protects the entire structure against flooding while shaping its external character. Behind the calm, bright exposed concrete façades, four above ground floors and a basement offer workspace for around 145 skilled tradespeople and administrative employees. Inside, white dominates: the ground floor surface extends over 1800 square metres, and the two internal staircases are clad in white fibre cement. A symbolic olive tree on the third floor completes the ensemble and subtly ties the architecture to its natural surroundings.
