The new replacement building of the Felix Platter Hospital in Basel was constructed directly adjacent to the main building, which is starting to show its age. Throughout the construction of the new building, the client relied on building information modeling (BIM). A smart, digital 3D model had already been put to use in the competition as well as in the implementation planning. As part of a consortium, Marti was able to win and implement the contract after being awarded first place in the full-service competition.
