Pumped-storage plant Nant de Drance

The new under­ground pumped-storage plant situated in the Valais high mountains between the existing Emosson and Vieux-Emosson reser­voirs is a monumental structure. Marti played a key role in its con­struc­tion from 2008 to 2018 as a consortium partner. This in­cluded the con­struc­tion of the access tunnel, two pressure tunnels and shafts, the two caverns, and the raising of the re­taining wall.
